The DST is an ideal 1st stage as it can be used in a variety of configurations. For mono unit configuration as well when two separately lockable machines are needed. Also perfect when used on a stage tank, the rotating head makes handling much more comfortable. Also for sidemount diving the perfect companion. You have the option to mount a 5th medium pressure outlet on top of the head.
The DST is:
– encapsulated
– has 4 medium pressure outlets 3/8″ UNF
– has 2 high pressure outlets 7/16″ UNF.
An optional 5th outlet is available as an accessory and is easy to install by yourself
– Pneumatically balanced second stage for lowest possible inhalation effort
– Large 2-stage air shower. If you press the air shower button sideways, the flow is lower and can be finely dosed (useful when filling buoys, lifting bags), if you press in the middle, the air flow is strong
– The large venturi lever made of soft rubber is easy to use. Prevents blowing off unbreathed air and provides maximum air flow when diving
– All plastic parts of the 2nd stage that come in contact with breathing gas are antibacterial
– Silicone exhalation membrane improves exhalation resistance
– The Comfo-bite™ mouthpiece prevents jaw fatigue
– A heat exchanger (patented) dissipates cold to the outside before icing can occur in the second stage
